Moisture & Humidity Monitoring

Stop mold before it starts by pinpointing hidden leaks and high humidity. Our infrared technology detects trapped moisture to protect your property and prevent future growth.

PureAir Moisture & Humidity Monitoring PureAir

Why should i check for moisture?

Moisture is the primary catalyst for mold growth and structural decay. Identifying hidden leaks or high humidity early prevents microscopic spores from colonizing your property. Our inspectors use infrared thermal imaging and digital moisture meters to find trapped water behind walls and under floors that is otherwise impossible to detect.

Monitoring your environment ensures that a small leak doesn't turn into an expensive remediation project. We provide objective data on relative humidity levels and moisture intrusion, helping you address the root cause of the problem. This proactive approach protects your property’s structural integrity and ensures your indoor air remains healthy and dry.

PureAir Frequently Asked Questions PureAir

All you need to know.

How do you find leaks without cutting into my walls?

We use infrared thermal imaging to detect temperature differences caused by moisture and non-invasive meters to 'read' moisture levels in drywall, wood, and masonry without causing damage.

What is considered a 'safe' humidity level?

Indoor relative humidity should ideally be kept between 30% and 50%. Anything consistently above 60% creates a high risk for mold growth, dust mites, and structural wood rot.

Can you find a leak even if the area looks dry?

Yes. Moisture is often trapped deep within wall cavities or subfloors. Our specialized equipment can detect hidden dampness that hasn't yet reached the surface or become visible as a stain.

Does moisture monitoring include mold testing?

This service focuses on finding the moisture source. However, if we identify high-risk dampness, we can add air or surface sampling to see if mold has already begun to colonize the area.

Why is moisture monitoring important for new homes?

Even new homes can have foundation gaps, roof leaks, or poorly calibrated HVAC systems. Identifying these 'built-in' moisture issues early prevents mold from developing in a brand-new property.
